VASKA will be showing Daughter of Dawn on Tuesday the 22nd at 7pm & 9pm as part of the Comanche Nation Fair. Admission will be at least one nonperishable food item per person (more is always welcome). The items will be donated to the Lawton Food Bank. So come out and enjoy the movie for the first time in digital HD and support a good cause! The 80-minute silent movie (set to music) was filmed in 1920 in the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge, and has an all-American Indian cast. In 2013, this film was selected for induction in the National Film Registry.
