Join us Tuesday, December 15 for dinner, which is $15 (children are $5) at LARs Greek House (formerly Adam’s Greek House – same people, they just wanted to change the name). The proceeds go to the Second Mile (M28 Ministries Inc.) funds for their construction project to help the homeless.
In addition, if you can bring with you a gift (or drop it off), these are a few things one of the families need. Let us know what you can bring so we can mark it off (so two people don’t bring the same thing).

About Second Mile:
The 2nd Mile’s purpose is to help homeless families get back on their feet by giving them rent free temporary housing until they can secure permanent, sustainable housing. We believe it is very important for families to stay together, but that is often difficult because of the lack of facilities to house homeless families together in the Lawton/Fort Sill community. The 2nd Mile program allows the family to stay together in one of our three 2 bed room homes, (first house complete and occupied March 2015, phase 2 underway) while they work their way through their circumstances and get back on their feet. Estimated cost for Phase 2 is $60,000
