The 11th annual Journey for the Bride and Groom Bridal Fair is taking place January 31, 2016 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Lawton Comanche County Fairgrounds Annex. Admission is $4.00 and is open to anyone who is involved in an upcoming wedding. Over $3000.00 in prizes will be given away during the fair.

A variety of local wedding vendors will come together at the 11th annual Journey for the Bride and Groom Bridal Fair. Vendors include party rentals, DJ services, wedding cakes, catering, travel, reception halls, bridal registry stores, photography, video and many others. Each vendor is contributing a gift to be given away to brides or grooms who are getting married between January 31, 2016 and January 31, 2017.

“We organize the bridal fair to provide a forum to easily get brides, grooms and wedding vendors together. It’s a quick three hour event, where a lot of decisions can be made,” Pat Reynolds, owner of Journey Productions, explained. “The world is in a hurry and this fair is here to take a little of the hurry out of the wedding experience and put some fun into it.”

This year’s fair will feature drawings for the brides and grooms to win prizes. A fashion show by Allure Bridal Boutique and Edward’s Men’s Wear. To top off the bridal fair, special drawings will be made for a $425.00 Journey Productions DJ entertainment package, $100.00 wedding cash and a Journey Productions / Adventure Travel Honey Moon travel voucher will be awarded to one of the participating brides and grooms.

“This fair is for either a simple or an extravagant wedding and the vendor samples and selections were wonderful,” a previous fair participant explained. “It was great fun and very educational.”
