1. PROGRAM: 1- “Focus Your Vision” by Dewitt Jones. An inspirational video by a world-renown photographer and inspirational speaker who will show you how to develop your photographic vision and turn it into reality. This will be the third in his series of programs on creativity that we have seen at WWPS. Dewitt has a unique perspective on creativity and life which will bring you energy and excitement about the possibilities for your art. This program will make you feel good.
2. Pot Luck Dinner- We’ll share another great annual dinner. Many members have volunteered to bring yummy food.
3. GIFT EXCHANGE- There will be a “Dirty Santa” gift exchange. If you wish to participate, bring a wrapped gift, either new or used. Even white elephant junk items from your attic can be exchanged and often become the most fun and sought after exchange items
3. PHOTO CHALLENGE: – There will NOT be a photo challenge at the December meeting. For the January meeting, the theme will be an image with diagonal composition as discussed at the last meeting. Photos should have been taken since the last meeting.
4. DOORPRIZE: There will NOT be a doorprize drawing at this meeting
The last photo challenge winner was Bill Matthey. It was made using HDR techniques merging a 1-second exposure image with a 4-second exposure image. Note how this technique brings out the details in the shadow areas that would otherwise be very dark and featureless.
