DESCRIPTION:The city of Lawton celebrates America’s independence with an annual Freedom Festival at Elmer Thomas Park. Everyone can enjoy what this event has to offer for free. Throughout the day there will be concerts on the Lake Helen stage\, a bounce house for kids\, on site vendors and plenty of food. \nDon’t miss the car show where you’ll see all kinds of hot rods\, muscle cars and some of the newest models on display. Pick your favorite and hang around to see if it wins “Best of Show” or a Top 25 award. \nThe evening ends with a giant fireworks display in the park at dusk. Attendees are welcome to bring picnic baskets and chairs. There will also be a free shuttle service from the McMahon Auditorium and the Lawton High School parking lot to make parking easier. \nClick here to view the Facebook page for more information!
