DESCRIPTION:Armed Forces Day is just around the corner\, and this is our one chance a year to come together as a community and honor the sacrifices of our service members and their families with a weekend full of activities. \nThe theme for this year is “Our Heroes\, A Purple Heart City\,” celebrating our service men and women and Lawton being named A Purple Heart City. We have a weekend full of activities going on right here in Lawton! \nThe Armed Forces Day Luncheon will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday\, May 18\, at the Patriot Club on Fort Sill. This year’s luncheon will feature a performance by the USO Show Troupe.
