The artwork in turn is presented to the six people who win the 2015 Cultural Awards. \nThe award is $900.00 for the six pieces. The theme is open but should be appropriate to the Cultural Awards. All artists are eligible with only six (6) works allowed per artists. There is no entry fee! \nPast artists recipients of the “One to Six” have been Santos Rubio\, Tom Biggs\, Patty Ferguson\, Myron Beeson\, Cynthia Clay\, David Gill\, Katherine Liontas\, Eva Yeahquo-Williams\, and John Hernandez just to name a few! The City of Lawton and the Lawton Arts & Humanities Council (LAHC) are accepting nominations for the 2015 Cultural Awards. These awards honor artists\, educators\, businesses/organizations\, and citizens who have made a difference in our community. The awards will be given at the “2016 Arts for All” luncheon. The deadline is November 6\, 2015. Any individual or organization may submit nominations for the six categories. \nThe first person to accept the award in 1971 was Mrs. Roma Clift Montgomery. DESCRIPTION:The Southwest Oklahoma Corvette Club is hosting a Sunset Cruise & BBQ Buffet Dinner on the evening of Friday\, October 16\, and an All Corvette Show on Saturday\, October 17.  Registration for the Sunset Cruise & BBQ Buffet Dinner is $25 and is due by October 7.  The Corvette Show registration is $20 per Corvette through October 7 and $25 per Corvette after October 7. \nThose participating in the cruise and dinner on Friday night need to arrive at the Apache Casino Hotel parking lot between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m.  A driver meeting will take place at 5:50 p.m.  The cruise will depart at 6:00 p.m. and arrive atop Mt.
