SUMMARY:Goodwill's 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Goodwill Industries of Southwest Oklahoma & North Texas\, Inc. is hosting their 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Monday\, September 25th at the Lawton County Club.  Registration opens at 10:30 am (unless you have pre-registered) with lunch at 11:00 am and a shotgun start at 12:00 noon.  All monies raised from the golf tournament will benefit our Goodwill programs.  Programs like our Adult Day & Youth Services (for youth with special needs)\, Workforce Development Center\, Career Development Center\, VITA (Free income tax preparation during tax season) and our Goodwill Maximum Independence Scholarship program.  With recent federal and state funding cuts that have directly impacted some of our programs\, we are hosting this tournament to help offset some of these cuts. \nThe top 3 teams will be awarded a cash prize of $1\,000 for the 1st Place Team\, $600 for the 2nd Place Team and $300 for the 3rd Place Team.  We will kick off the tournament with a Putting Contest and the winners will have their choice of a $125.00 Card from a major retailer.  A randomly drawn prize will be awarded an additional team and door prizes will be given to individual players. SUMMARY:2017 Mulit-Gun Championship
DESCRIPTION:The United States Army Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill will host the inaugural Multi-Gun Championship. This event is anticipated to bring shooters of all levels from across the United States of America. All proceeds generated by this event are returned to our Soldiers in the form of support for programs\, equipment\, and facilities. We hope to build the Multi-Gun Championship at historic Fort Sill into a long-running\, greatly respected event in the world of Multi-Gun Competition. \nMulti-Gun\, also known as 3-Gun Competition\, is one of the fastest growing shooting sports in the nation. Essentially melding gun handling skills\, accuracy\, and speed into one package\, 3-gun utilizes a wide variety of skills with three firearms: rifle\, pistol\, and shotgun. \nDivisions include open-unlimited\, practical\, and factory-patrol.\nClasses will be men\, women\, and veteran/emergency responder.

DESCRIPTION:These programs are intended for individuals and family groups. Reservations are limited to one family (up to six individuals) per telephone call. Children must be at least eight years old. Restrooms are not available on the tours. Wheelchair access is available if requested at time of reservation. Refuge tours are dependent upon wildlife and weather conditions. They may be cancelled or modified if adverse conditions exist. Program dates are tentative as of 11/16. Reservations are required. Reservations will be retained until 10 minutes before each program. After that time\, stand-bys will be accepted. If the bus seating is filled after accepting stand-bys\, late arrivals with reservations will not be able to participate in the program. This family friendly event will allow folks to get up close and personal to some of the area’s biggest trucks and specialty vehicles. Climb in a big rig\, honk the horn\, turn on a police siren or learn how a dump truck works! Spend the day with some of the biggest trucks and hardest working people in Lawton Fort Sill. Free & open to the public. Food trucks will be on site.

SUMMARY:24th Annual Devil Dog Run
DESCRIPTION:The Fort Sill Marine Detachment and Family and MWR will host the 24th Annual Devil Dog Run which will include a 5K\, 10K and a free Family Fun 1-Mile Run/Walk at the New Post Chapel on September 9. The run starts at 8 .m.\, cost $25 with a T-shirt.\nThe run is open to the public\, but you must be able to access post with either a military ID or a visitor’s pass. Fort Sill Visitor Pass information is available at sill-www.army.mil.  Register for the run online at sill.armymwr.com. \nRegistration is also available the day of the event at the New Post Chapel.
