Why am I Lawton Proud? Throughout my adult life I have volunteered for many of the wonderful nonprofits in our town. My work with young people through the PTA and LPS Board of Education have been the most rewarding. The hard work and dedication of our teachers, administrator and staff at our schools is amazing. Watching our students participate and grow is something that I challenge anyone to not be moved. I still am brought to tears by our musical performances and award ceremonies. Watching our student leaders interact with the Lawton community makes not only the students better prepared for becoming adults but makes all of us Lawton Proud.
