The Platters were one of the top vocal groups of the 1950’s, selling 53 million records and being among the first doo-wop groups to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. With hit song “Only You” and “The Great Pretender”, The Platters have made an indelible mark on the history of rock and roll music.
